Plasticizing Agent
TGA
TGA is an agent designed to allow controlled injection even under underwater conditions. It features a rapid gel time and maintains a plastic state—a condition with no self-flow but capable of flowing under small pressure—for several minutes before hardening begins. This characteristic allows the grout to fill voids completely, providing effective backfilling without gaps. The method is considered economical and environmentally friendly for long-term use.
TGA is a material developed to provide plastic backfilling performance while using ordinary Portland cement and conventional sodium silicate. However, compared with the TG Method, the overall construction performance may be relatively limited.
