  It is designed to ensure safe and efficient handling during segment transportation and assembly in shield tunneling operations. It also allows backfill grouting through the injection pipe during the lining backfilling process behind the tunnel segments. When the screw cap is securely tightened, the injection pipe can withstand water pressure up to 12 bar.
