Weighting Agent for Slurry Density Control
In shield TBM operations, bentonite is commonly used as the primary slurry material, and its inherent properties can provide a certain level of viscosity and density control. However, depending on site conditions, additional density control may be required, in which case weighting agents are used in combination with bentonite. Our weighting agent is a naturally occurring mineral formed through the weathering of rock, offering environmentally stable performance without adverse impact. The material consists of feldspar-based minerals with micro- to nano-scale porous structures, providing excellent adsorption capacity and ion exchange properties.
